Happy birthday to my favorite Animal Crossing character Isabelle (and Digby too)! I loved her since New Leaf and I’m so happy to have her as the lead solo artist on Smash 😊 pic.twitter.com/fZSOSyiuA9

Since the villagers have in-game celebrations in the Animal crossing series, it’s really surprising that Nintendo didn’t create anything special for Isabelle when she’s so clearly loved. She is playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 for a reason. Fans have loved her so much that she has become one of the main characters in the series despite only being present in two of the main games in the series. Certainly all of Isabelle’s fans must have been at least a little disappointed.
If he Animal Crossing: New Horizons The team had no intention of celebrating Isabelle’s birthday, so there is hardly any point in giving her a canon birthday. Non-villager characters deserve to be celebrated as much as villagers. Without Isabelle facilitating and managing a significant part of the island experience, it would all be just a disaster. Tom Nook’s only concern in the world is money, but Isabelle has a sincere interest in making the island great. He needed some kind of recognition, even if it was just a short little party at City Hall. It seems a bit unfair that Nintendo doesn’t fully recognize it.
