The architecture is reportedly based on the 7nm node, as with previous hardware.
The chip configurations could be rearranged, especially in the L3 cache.
Since there is no node reduction, some significant architectural improvement over Zen 2 could be expected, AnandTech reported.
Desktop CPUs based on the Zen 3 architecture would be branded Ryzen 4000 and mobile processors with the new architecture would be branded Ryzen 5000.
