Amanda Holden’s daughter Hollie claimed that Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman separated.
The famous eight-year-old offspring interrupted her mother to tell her that the celebrity couple had split up while cameras were filming for a live Instagram on Tuesday.
Simon and Lauren have cemented their celebrity couple status, dating for many years and raising their six-year-old son Eric together.
The celebrity couple has been locked up in California with their son and Lauren’s son, 14-year-old Adam, from a previous relationship.
The mother of two, Amanda, chatted with her 1.4 million fans about playing her new NHS single for the 60-year-old music tycoon and catching up with her longtime partner.

However, a spokesman for Simon has confirmed the The X Factor boss and Lauren were “very close”.
A Simon spokesperson told The Mirror: “Simon and Lauren are still very close and locked up in California together.”

Sources close to the couple claimed that Amanda’s daughter had been confused.
An informant told The Mirror: “This was only the case of a child who was a child and was confused and did things completely wrong.”
It comes after Amanda had gotten excited about Simon’s “nice” invitation to ask her to sing at Britain’s Got Talent’s live shows.

During the live broadcast, British judge Got Talent spoke about his relationship with music mogul and his girlfriend Lauren.
“I played the album for Simon because Simon was very nice and invited me to sing at the Britain’s Got Talent live shows, which I will still do whenever.
“But I thought I’d take it and have a cup of tea and see what he thinks, I don’t know why I did it. It was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done in my life. My life, it was like the opening night of a West End show.
“I sat in his living room; I received some delicious homemade cookies from Chef Geoff. I don’t think they have a chef in there.”
“Actually, the lovely Lauren, Simon’s girlfriend, sent me some lovely photos of them cooking the other day. Simon is pretty good at cooking I think.”
