The show centers on the Chicago Bulls’ 1997-98 season, but also focuses on the enigmatic Michael Jordan with never-before-seen footage of players, coaches and managers working behind the scenes. Jordan and the Bulls allowed NBA Entertainment cameras to follow them throughout the season and document their final championship run, putting a limit to what was once one of the league’s most famous basketball dynasties.

Jordan, who is known for being a fierce competitor on the court and a closed-lip personality, has kept the cover of the series until now. With several stories of turmoil surrounding the Bulls dynasty in its final season, the six-time NBA champion has expressed concern that the images will make him look like “a horrible guy,” but he also felt it was time for him to will post the images. For example, Jordan allegedly hit his former teammate and current Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr in the face during practice during the 1997-98 season. That’s just one of what will likely be several telling anecdotes discussed on the show.
