Cape Town: More than 34,000 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Africa in the two months since the first confirmed case of the disease on the continent, with more than 1,500 lives lost. Accra is the epicenter of the outbreak in Ghana, Koram said, with more than 80% of cases in the nation’s capital.
