Gospel of April 4, 2021 – John 20: 1-9

It was very early on the first day of the week and it was still dark when Mary of Magdala arrived at the tomb. She saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb and came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the beloved of Jesus. “They have brought the Lord out of the grave,” he said, “and we do not know where they have put him.”

So Peter set out with the other disciple to go to the tomb. They ran together, but the other disciple, who was running faster than Peter, reached the tomb first; He leaned over and saw the canvases lying on the floor, but didn’t go inside. Simon Peter, who was following him, approached, went directly into the tomb, saw the canvases on the ground and also the cloth that had been covered. his head; this was not with the canvases, but rolled in one place alone. Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also entered; he saw and believed. Until that moment they had not been able to understand the teaching of the Scriptures, that he was to rise from the dead.

An Easter prayer for the world
Happy easter everyone.

May the empty tomb of Christ remind us that no matter how difficult things may seem, especially during these Covid times, the hope of a new day is always on the horizon.

May the spirit of Easter fill our hearts with joy and fire for Our Lord.

Today is also a day to reflect on what Easter means to our world today. It is a day to see everyone, regardless of race, creed, color, political opinion, as worthy of God’s selfless love … This Easter, God shows us again His sacrificial love by giving His only Son to die. for us.

So in this video we pray for the whole world … through art. Enjoy,
