Apple’s annual developer conference is coming up. The iPhone maker sent invitations to its annual developer-focused event on Tuesday, WWDC, where it often shows what’s next for your iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, and other software platforms (this is what we know so far about iOS 15). Traditionally held in early June, this year’s all-virtual event runs from June 7-11.
Typically an in-person affair that draws thousands of people to Silicon Valley, the 2021 version of WWDC will follow suit from last year’s conference and be streamed online. For him pandemic, WWDC 2020 was the first to stream exclusively online, and Apple also hosted the event at the end of the month.

This year’s conference, which Apple will broadcast “free to all developers,” comes as the company is seemingly gearing up for another great year. In addition to rumors of new iPhones, iPads, Macs and AirPods, the electronics giant is in the midst of a transition from Intel processors to their own chips for your Mac computers, a process first announced at WWDC last year. Apple is also rumored to be working on a range of new products, from virtual reality and augmented reality headsets to autonomous cars.
While some of those projects may still take a few years, some kind of headset may arrive next year And the company may poke fun at some of your work in an effort to push developers’ app ideas.
