The news is a blow to the fans; But perhaps the silver lining is that Page’s output shouldn’t be totally ruinous to the show’s plot. Bridgerton seems to be following the inspiration map of his book series, where each season will focus on the relationship of a main couple.
The show has already made it clear that Anthony’s struggles in love will be the central plot of the upcoming season. Removing the relevance of the Duke of Hastings shouldn’t be too difficult, as he already had his turn in the spotlight.
