WhatsApp Messenger has been in the news for quite some time, sometimes the reason is the controversy over the update of its new privacy policy and these days for its new self-destructing messages feature. The feature was rolled out earlier this year, allowing users to send and receive text messages that are automatically deleted after a week, but once the feature is enabled, it deletes all messages after 7 days if not he wants it.
Despite the backlash on their new privacy policy update that occurred in early 2021 and cost them millions of followers, who switched to Telegram and Signal within a few days, the social media messaging platform will continue with the update in the future.
But according to WABetaInfo, an application research platform, a new update will allow users to choose to remove it between 24 hours and 7 days.
The news is that after the successful launch reviews of auto-delete messages, WhatsApp also plans to bring an automatic image-delete feature on iOS and Android, in which the images will disappear once you open them and leave a chat. This update will be useful for privacy reasons as the image cannot be saved to the device or exported anywhere, although screenshot detection is not implemented for now.
For this function, once you select an image, a clock-like icon will appear next to the writing message bar, tap the icon to set the timer.
WhatsApp is testing the ability to set messages to disappear after 24 hours.

The Facebook-owned messaging company is apparently copying the feature that Snapchat has had for a long time, and that’s why people feel safer sending photos there. In the last quarter of the previous year, the user base increased by 150 percent.
The new update is in test mode for now, and it is not confirmed whether the feature will remain permanently or will be discontinued after a while, that is, according to WABetaInfo.
Also, WhatsApp version 2.21.3.19 and 2.21.31.2 and a more updated version in India, Brazil, Indonesia and some other countries have a new update in which users can take advantage of third-party stickers through the application called Sticker Maker and create and import static or animated sticker packs, although users will need to have at least three sticker packs to import them.
