The first opportunity to play Battlefield 6 is coming very soon, according to EA. An alpha is planned to be released earlier than ever.
EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 it will get an alpha sometime this year, and it will arrive earlier than previous titles. EA made the announcement via a blog post that outlined the status of the long-awaited shooter, noting that it is shaping up to be something truly incredible.
Battlefield 6 has a lot at stake, as EA is investing a lot of time and resources in the title. The game will unite a handful of top EA developers, all of whom are contributing different things, such as a possible battle royale. It will also become one of the most ambitious titles in the series to date, with a 128 player count and a high level of dynamic destruction. Then Battlefield v was greeted with disappointing sales and reception, EA has likely decided to go for this new title to make sure the series doesn’t start to develop a wavering reputation and fall behind. It seems that EA will even go to great lengths to try and show these big and ambitious changes to the public sooner rather than later in an effort to fix some bugs.

EA Studios Director Laura Miele wrote in a blog post today (via ComicBook.com), detailing the fact that Criterion would delay its new Need for speed title to help give Battlefield 6 the support you need. Miele also noted that the game will get an alpha, apparently very soon. “The project is moving towards the earliest Alpha in the franchise, the gameplay is on an unprecedented scale and we are taking full advantage of the technology in next-gen consoles.” Miele said. “The team has done an incredible job despite the challenges of working from home. We want to build on our position of strength, focus on the opportunity before us, and prepare our game creators for success in order to provide the best possible experience for our players this fall. “
The executive continued by pointing out that a draft of the Battlefield 6 The trailer is now finished and viewed internally. At this rate, it’s very possible that the game will be revealed in April. “We have a banner year ahead of us with our next battlefield, so we thank everyone for joining with the energy and determination to do something special.” Miele continued saying. “We recently saw the first version of the Battlefield launch trailer and it is shaping up to be a truly amazing first look at this groundbreaking game. I think the fans are going to love it! “
Battlefield 6 It has already been confirmed for a spring reveal and a 2021 Christmas release, so it’s very possible that the alpha will arrive shortly after the reveal. When Battlefield: Hardline had its E3 showing, EA put a beta on PS4 and PC to give players instant access to the game. It is entirely possible for EA to make a similar move to Battlefield 6 and debut the alpha after the game’s initial reveal. If the study aims to have the “earliest alpha” in the series, it would have to arrive before June, as that is when Hard line had its first playable build for fans.
