The next Sony State of Play live stream will air on Thursday, February 25 at 5 pm ET / 2 pm PT. The new broadcast promises new updates and “deep dives” in 10 games coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and you can watch it all live, right here.
Thursday’s game state will stream on YouTube, embedded above, and Twitch. Sony says the broadcast will last approximately 30 minutes.
Sony says State of Play will include both announcements of new games and updates to the games shown during the PlayStation 5 “Future of PlayStation” launch last June. During that live broadcast, Sony revealed a new God of War, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Y West horizon forbidden, along with third-party and independent developer disclosures for Resident Evil Village, Return, GhostWire: Tokyo, Jett: the far shore, Y Lost. Just don’t expect anything too far-reaching; Sony said the show will focus on “games coming out in the next few months. “(Also, don’t expect hardware updates.)
On Tuesday, Sony confirmed a new PlayStation VR headset for PS5, a PC port from Bend Studio. Past daysand a 2022 launch window for Gran Turismo 7.
