Samsung Galaxy M62 to debut on March 3 and will be rebranded as Galaxy F62

Samsung is preparing to launch another phone in its M series. Called the Galaxy M62, the smartphone will arrive in Malaysia on March 3. The Galaxy M62 is said to be the renamed version of the Galaxy F62 which was recently launched in India.

Before the official launch, the phone appeared on a local e-commerce website. The list shows the versions of the upcoming Galaxy M62, which is identical to the Galaxy F62. As of now, it is unknown if the global version will have a different set of specs or any other changes.

That being said, Samsung Galaxy F62 was launched in India for a starting price of 23,999. The high-end model of the phone costs 25,999. The Galaxy M62 will reportedly be available at the same price.

In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy F62 features a 6.7-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED Plus display. It is powered by a 7nm Exynos 9825 processor. The phone comes with up to 1TB of expandable storage via a microSD card. On the software front, Galaxy F62 runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy F62 has a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The other three cameras on the back are a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone houses a 32-megapixel punch hole camera for selfies.

Another highlight of the phone is the 7,000 mAh battery. The phone also ships with a 25W fast charger. It also supports reverse charging. Other key features of the phone are the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Samsung Pay (NFC). It comes in Laser Blue, Laser Green, and Laser Gray color options.
