Ronald Koeman couldn’t hide his disappointment after seeing Barcelona draw 1-1 at Cádiz at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
A late penalty after a foul by Clement Lenglet caused Barça to lose points in a match they had dominated from start to finish.
Barça went ahead with a Lionel Messi penalty, but was once again disappointed by a bad shot and another back error.
Here’s what Koeman did with all of this:
“It’s disappointing. You have to win these kinds of games and we didn’t.
“It is a great opportunity lost after the defeat of Atlético de Madrid. It is a huge disappointment. I am very disappointed, more than last Tuesday. We couldn’t miss the two points. We are disappointed.
“I don’t like to blame the individual players. We were not up to the task in attack and we have to defend differently. In terms of quality, we should have won. The problem is that the scoreboard was very close and they could equalize at any time, as it happened ”.

Barça missed the opportunity to close the gap with Atlético to six points and could fall to fourth place if Sevilla beat Osasuna on Monday. The two teams will then meet in La Liga at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan on Saturday.
