Blizzard has been working on several new projects: a remastering of Diablo II and a new update for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. But the company has also taken the time to look back.
Three of Blizzard’s early games are now available as the Blizzard Arcade Collection, IGN reports. The three-game pack includes the original and definitive editions of The Lost Vikings, Rock N Roll Racing, and Blackthorne.
You can play each title as it was at launch, or with enhancements such as game replay and custom key mapping. There’s also a feature called Clock Mode, which lets you watch entire games and jump at any time to take control. If you decide to start your own game, you can also save at any time, a boon for any title.
In addition to each game, the Blizzard Arcade Collection has a variety of additional digital art, interviews, and other behind-the-scenes content. All three games debuted on Battle.net in 2014, although they were free at the time. In the future, if you want to buy any of them, you will need the Blizzard Arcade Collection, which retails for $ 19.99.
The Blizzard Arcade Collection is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. (Blizzard says it “works great too” on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S through backward compatibility.)
