Hearthstone is a free online digital trading card game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Originally subtitled Heroes of Warcraft, Hearthstone builds on the existing lore of the Warcraft series using the same elements, characters, and relics. The game is available for the following platforms: Android, iOS, Classic Mac OS, Microsoft Windows. The latest news on this game is the upcoming release of a new expansion known as Forged in the Barrens.

The release date for Forged in the Barrens is set for this spring of 2021 and will be released worldwide along with 135 new collectible cards. Here are all the other major additions with this expansion:
- New Keyword: Frenzy
- The monsters, minions, magic and machinery found within the boundaries of The Wastes can turn any upstart ax thrower into a champion of the Horde.
- Minions with the new Frenzy keyword will trigger a powerful effect the first time if they don’t die and survive the damage dealt to them.
- Classified spells
- Mastering magic is one of the most important aspects of surviving the elements (and elementals).
- All 10 classes will have access to a completely new ranked spell that increases in power as it reaches 5 and 10 mana crystals, and this will not be affected even if it is not in the player’s hand or deck.
- New Mechanic: Spell Schools
- Magic spell schools will be a permanent addition to Hearthstone.
- This will retroactively apply to many previously cast spells, adding synergies and a new layer of depth throughout your collection! Spells in Standard and Wild can now have a label from one of seven different schools:
- Arcane (2 spells in Forged in the Wastes, added to 44 spells from previous sets)
- Vile (3 spells in Forged in the Wastes, added to 22 spells from previous sets)
- Fire (2 spells in Forged in the Wastes, added to 43 spells from previous sets)
- Frost (2 spells in Forged in the Barrens, added to 24 spells from previous sets)
- Holy (5 spells in Forged in the Wastes, added to 67 spells from previous sets)
- Nature (6 spells in Forged in the Wastes, added to 112 spells from previous sets)
- Shadow (4 spells in Forged in the Wastes, added to 109 spells from previous sets)
