Crayta game is free for everyone on Stadia

New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS): The Starter Edition of the game ‘Crayta’ is now completely free on Google’s game streaming platform, Stadia.

Crayta was previously a buy-to-play title, though it remains one of several free Stadia Pro games included with the optional subscription since it launched nearly a year ago, AndroidCentral reports.

Crayta, developed by the British studio ‘Unit 2 Games’ and looks a bit like a Minecraft focused on creating games with the art style and construction mechanics of Fortnite.

Players can create their own games for their 3D avatars to explore and interact with.

Crayta was the first Stadia title to support ‘State Share’ and is now gaining support for ‘Crowd Play’ as well, meaning that live streamers could open their game sessions to their viewers for an easier way to interact with. the fans.

The game is also earning a Battle Pass system that would offer a host of themed cosmetics to complete in-game challenges in various community games.

Additionally, the company announced ‘Journey to the Savage Planet’, ‘Lara Croft’ and ‘Guardian of Light’, as well as ‘Enter the Gungeon’ for Stadia Pro subscribers.

Google has announced that nearly 400 new games are on the way for its Stadia Cloud game streaming service.

In a recent interview with MobileSyrup, Jack Buser, Stadia’s Game Director, said that most of these games would arrive in 2021 and beyond.
