The feature is likely to be rolled out to all users as soon as all bugs and issues are fixed. WhatsApp beta users on version 2.21.3.13 will receive a video mute feature that will allow them to remove the sound from a video clip before sharing.

The mute option will be available on your video editing screen along with text and emoji editing features. The option will appear in the form of a volume icon that users will have to tap to mute while pressing it again will bring the volume back. Other options, such as the Sketch, Text and Smiley functions, will be the same. For now, it is unclear when this feature will be available to users in a stable release.

The company is also working on a multi-device support feature that should arrive in stable release soon. The report suggests that Beta users of the previous version could get this feature.

WhatsApp recently made many improvements to the web / desktop versions, including the biometric authentication feature and support for audio / video calls.
