GD-Drive was a revolution in the efficient use of compact discs. Continually loading content made the Dreamcast superior to all available gaming platforms.
Unfortunately, because of Sega’s mismanagement, the developers killed Dreamcast just as they killed Microsoft’s Windows Phone for the same mismanagement.

I personally buy Play Station for Gran Turismo and XBOX for Forza Motorsport.
What other option do I have available?

For years, I was torn between PS2 and Dreamcast. Because during 2001-2002, using my Dreamcast seemed better to me. Everyone would say that he is underrated. Is really? Because the more people say it is underrated, the more it is overrated. GameCube is underrated. Saturn is underrated.
If I was stuck on an island and had to choose between Dreamcast or PS2, I would choose PS2. It can play PS1 and DVD games. PS2 really hit its stride in 2004 and 2005 when MGS3, Tekken 5, Gran Turismo 4, and God of War were released. Dreamcast doesn’t have the power to run GoW at 60 FPS like the PS2 did.
However, my favorite PlayStation library comes from the original PS1. This is why my Vita is my all-time favorite. You can play various PS1 and PS2 games but on the go. The fact that you can play Uncharted was really surprising for the 2011 tech. It wasn’t quite as nice as the PS3, but the franchise was only 4 years old.

I was going to buy a Nintendo Switch Lite, but the drift problem still exists. And I hate that it doesn’t have Bluetooth wireless listening. The Sony PlayStation 5 should be my 20th different device that I will own and it should hit my top 5 right away.
You can say that PS3 is my least favorite PlayStation. I think Sony tried too hard with PS3. I never had the PSP Go, which would have been. I think Saturn would have been higher if it had lived in Japan. But I’ve been a PlayStation fan since September 2, 1996.
