Guerrilla Games has announced that it will reduce the speed of updates to Horizon zero dawn on PC to focus on developing West horizon forbidden.
The developer shared the news on its website yesterday (January 19), along with the release of patch 1.10. “As our team continues to develop our next title West horizon forbidden, we are switching to less frequent updates to Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC, ”the study said.
West horizon forbidden is the highly anticipated sequel to Horizon zero dawn. The next title will continue the journey of the protagonist Aloy, who seeks to end a mysterious plague that destroys everything that infects.
Patch 1.10 will be the last major update for Horizon zero dawn on PC. The patch includes various bug fixes and. a performance improvement that saves users up to 250MB of VRAM on AMD GPUs. The update also includes graphical improvements that fixes the game’s low resolution in windowed mode, incorrectly scaled loading screens and menus, as well as a number of user interface fixes.
However, Guerrilla Games also assured fans that despite their renewed focus on West horizon forbidden, will still “continue to monitor our community spaces as always.” Check out the full patch notes here.
West horizon forbidden It is currently scheduled to release on both PS4 and PS5 in 2021, although a firm release date has not been announced. The sequel was first announced in June 2020 during Sony’s Future Of Gaming event.
