Assassin’s Creed Valhalla had its first (free) DLC event in December with the launch of Season 1, which featured seasonal events and game content like the Viking Yule Festival, as well as a couple of new modes. However, the real DLC spectacle for the game begins later this spring. 2021 will have two major expansions for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Season 2, which is free to all players, will launch in March and will include a new combat-oriented game mode, a new Jomsviking update. Valhalla Settlement festivals and, of course, new equipment and cosmetic items. However, the first true major expansion, which also launches sometime this spring and is called Wrath of the Druids, is part of the game’s paid Season Pass. The DLC will take players to Ireland, where they will face a druidic cult and “fight your way through enchanted forests and stunning landscapes as you gain influence among Gaelic kings, “according to a Ubisoft press release.

Following this first DLC installment is The Siege of Paris in Summer 2021, in which players, like their powerful Viking raider, will battle historical characters in Frankia, infiltrating Paris and the Seine River in a lengthy siege. Although these two are the only DLC packs announced for Season Pass holders in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla until now yeah Assassin’s Creed Odyssey tells players anything about the future of the series’ newest entry, they’ll have much, much more to look forward to over the next year or two.
