It’s no secret that most of us would love to forget that 2020 existed. Well that can start with never saying certain words again and now a university has shared some of them that should never cross our lips again.
Lake Superior State University in Michigan has published its annual “Banished Words List,” which includes words that people should stop saying due to “overuse, misuse, or uselessness.” In total, 1,450 words and phrases were nominated, 250 related to the coronavirus, seven of which made the Top Ten. There were also non-COVID words like “Karen” and “their”, short for suspect.
