“Due to the manufacturer ending production, the following products will not be replenished.”
Sony has reportedly told a Japanese retailer that it is discontinuing a number of previous PlayStation 4 models, including the PS4 Pro 1TB Glacier White and the PS4 2TB Jet Black.
As reported by Cheesemeister on Twitter (thanks, VGC), retailers in Japan have notified consumers that they cannot restock the PS4 500GB Glacier White, PS4 1TB Jet Black, PS4 1TB Glacier White, PS4 2TB Jet Black, and PS4 Pro 1TB Glacier Blanco “because the manufacturer terminated production.”
So far there has been no formal confirmation from Sony, but it coincides with a recent message on PlayStation.com that said it had “no plans to restock [PS4 Pros] in the future. ”However, that statement was later removed.

For those still desperately looking for a PS5, several retailers in the UK have confirmed that they will not receive any more PS5 stock until early 2021.
In the days leading up to Christmas, Argos updated their PS5 store page with a simple message that reads, “Sorry, PlayStation 5 is currently unavailable. We will have no more stock for the rest of 2020.” It was also a similar story at Smyths Toys and Asda.
Searching for PS5 stock, from pre-orders to launch day, has been an all-powerful nightmare for most. Retail websites have crashed on demand or seen their allocations disappear in seconds by bots or resellers. Some have even had consoles stolen, deliveries lost, or had the console replaced with bricks. It also doesn’t appear that demand is slowing down, so expect these difficulties to linger for some time yet.
However, to have a better chance of getting a new console, Gelatin Deals a follow on Twitter.
