The job posting does not provide any further details on the project, beyond the reference to “new and practical technologies to enable ‘adventures forever'”.

The Battle royale Apex Legends title has attracted more than 70 million players since its launch in February 2019, while the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order title exceeded the company’s expectations with more than ten million sales.
Apex Legends director Chad Grenier recently said that Respawn would “probably” expand Apex Legends “beyond battle royale” in the future and that the company regularly discussed how to take free play in new directions.
Meanwhile, Electronic Arts suggested last summer that Respawn would create a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
