OnePlus Nord N100 receives December 2020 security update with even more fixes

OnePlus Nord N100 is the brand’s cheapest smartphone of all time (as of now). This phone along with other devices released by the company in 2020 has been receiving multiple system updates since its launch. This phone, in particular, is now getting its fifth version of OxygenOS, and it’s only over a month old.

The latest system update for OnePlus Nord N100 comes with build number OxygenOS 10.5.4 for NA region and OxygenOS 10.5.5 for the EU region. Although the build numbers are different, they come with the common changelog.

Like the previous updates, the new one too bring optimizations, fixes, and enhancements, plus the December 2020 security patch.

First, the new update optimizes system power consumption and compatibility with Bluetooth devices (NA only). It also fixes phone not waking up under certain circumstances, errors (NA only), and call noise issues.

In addition, the latest update improves the shooting experience of the camera, as well as the stability of communication functions. Last but not least, apart from adding a quick settings switch to adjust mute, ringtone and vibration, it also brings an updated GMS (Google Mobile Services) package: September 2020 for the NA variant of the smartphone.
