Despite its recent travails, Chinese manufacturer Huawei does not appear to be giving up its smartphone business. Just yesterday, the company launched two new smartphones: Huawei nova 8 and nova 8 Pro. The starting price for these devices is 3,299 yuan ($ 506). Now, there are reports that in addition to the two models, there will also be a special edition Huawei nova 8 Pro. This special edition is a custom version and there is no release date for this device for now.
Unfortunately, there is no more information on this special edition. However, since its existence is already public, we can expect more leaks in the coming weeks. We know that Huawei is missing flagship chips (specifically Kirin 9000). However, the company has some older chip stocks that it can use to launch some smartphones.
The Huawei nova 8 Pro is equipped with Kirin 985 5G SoC chip. It uses a 6.72-inch, 120Hz screen that supports 10-bit color depth and HDR10. This smartphone will collaborate with King of Glory (Honor of the King) to launch its Ultra high frame rate version of 90 FPS.
