Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – How to beat the Cow Catcher mission

Players will not be able to start the Cow Catcher mission right away, instead they will need to meet some prerequisites. They will first have to work until they get their settlement at level 3, which may take a bit of time. Once this is done, the Cattle Farm will be unlocked, which players can build in their settlement. This will allow the player to travel to their new cattle farm and find NPC Winfirth, who will speak to another NPC named Bertham. Players will only need to get close to them to begin the Cow Catcher mission.

The first objective of this mission tells the player to travel to shore. All they have to do is travel south from the farm until they find a boat, which they can then use to cross to the other side of the river. Then, three different markers will appear on the map, and players can follow each of them to find a cow that needs to be knocked down. Once players kill a cow, they can loot the body to collect meat from them and then move on to the next one.

After these three cows are tended, players will receive another marker indicating the location of the last cow. All the player has to do is travel here and get to the scoreboard. This will trigger a cutscene in which Bertham will kill the cow. Players must return to the farm and talk to Winfirth to finish the mission and earn 140 Yule tokens.
