Grand Theft Auto Online Players who prefer to play the game alone could soon get more content, according to its developer Rockstar Games.
During an interview with GQ, Game Design Director Scott Butchard stated that giving players the option to play the game alone is “something that has been on our minds for quite some time.” The comment follows the release of GTA OnlineThe latest update, Cayo Perico Heist, which was designed to be played solo or cooperatively.
“It is something we are looking forward to moving forward,” he added. “We want to respect the teams and players who want to play cooperatively. But at the same time, it allows solo players to still get an equally valid experience. Both have advantages. “
Butchard also noted that future updates to the game will likely include more content for solo players. “I think you can see that with Online and I think in the future we are going to inject more of that element of a player there, “he said.
Cayo Perico Heist was released on December 15 and was described by the developer as “the largest and most ambitious Grand Theft Auto Online adventure to date ”. The update also featured the addition of a new virtual underground club called The Music Locker, which will host real-life DJ performances.
In other GTA Online news, a new leak suggests that the content of Rockstar Games’ 2003 stealth horror title Hunting it will be added to the game at some point in the future. Data mined assets include a Hunting– themed arcade cabinet, along with a trophy and a gun connected to the game.
