SuperData recently published its November research on digital gaming markets, and it turns out that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare managed to maintain its popularity despite the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This was achieved thanks to integration with War zone, which is available separately as a free standalone download. Speaking of exact numbers, Modern war had 2.7 times more players than Black Ops Cold War during the previous month. SuperData predicts that War zone will remain the most common way to play Call of Duty since the Battle Royale title will benefit even more from content updates while remaining free.

The standalone Battle Royale received a complex update containing various content assets from the latest game in the series. There are new weapons, operators, killstreaks, and much more. However, some fans expressed disappointment at the recently revealed integration claiming that War zone it worked and I felt so much better being a part of Modern war. With Black Ops Cold War, now there are duplicate weapons from two different eras with incompatible attachments and different stats. On top of that, the integration has supposedly brought bugs and glitches that spoil the fun of Battle Royale.
As much as War zone helped Modern war are still immensely popular, the same is about to happen with Black Ops Cold War after the recently introduced integration with this latest game. The November performance of the above Call of Duty The title is likely to remain his last significant achievement, simply because War zone it is now directly linked to the latest installment.
