KFConsole is real and will keep your chicken warm while you play

Earlier this year, KFC, the fast food restaurant chain with worldwide outlets, teased a console in June with the promise that it would be announced on November 12, but that didn’t happen. Today, the KFConsole is official and is a true game console Gaming PC.

KFConsole is a joint product between the fast food chain and Cooler Master, the Taiwanese manufacturer of computer hardware. The chicken cube shaped console has a black finish and a removable tray for your chicken. Below the tray is a power button that glows red and at the bottom is a ring that also glows red.

KFConsole has been designed to redirect heat from the system to cool your chicken in the proprietary chicken chamber.

There is an Intel NUC 9 inside the console that sits inside a custom Cooler Master NC100 chassis. KFConsole also has an unnamed ASUS mini-GPU that sits in a hot-swappable slot, ensuring your console remains powerful for years to come. For storage, you get two 1TB Seagate BarraCuda SSDs.

While KFC hasn’t revealed many key specs like RAM, specific GPU, and ports, the KFConsole official website says it’s VR ready, has Ray Tracing, supports 240fps for all games, and 240Hz output on 4K monitors and 4K TVs.

There is no news on the price and release date of the KFConsole either, but since the year is almost over, it will most likely not be available for purchase until next year.

What do you think of KFConsole? The design is quite unique, as it stands out from the refrigerator-like Xbox Series X and the massive white PlayStation 5.
