Everything we know about Fall Guys season 3

Now that the holidays are approaching, it makes sense that Fall boys is adjusting to the season. Developer Mediatonic is adding a winter theme to the new season. The update launches on December 15 and will include seven new stages, new cozy costumes, and new mechanics to torment the innocent beans trying to get a crown.

New levels include stages like Tundra Run and Ski Fall, and add new winter-themed obstacles and goals. In one stage, players chase down the pegwins, cute little penguin friends, and keep them to score points. In another, the titular boys slide down a giant ice slide and dive through the rings at the same time, which doesn’t seem like an easy feat.

Season 3 also contains a new ending game, joining the rotation alongside games like Hex-a-Gone, Jump Showdown, and Fall Mountain. This new game is similar to Hex-a-Gone, as players must carefully navigate a set of tiles and avoid falling into the goo below. However, Thin Ice works a little differently. Players can stand on a frozen tile three times before it breaks, and there is only one layer. Plus the stage is slippery for a little extra challenge.

There is a new addition to the game that will also last beyond Season 3. Players now have Crown Ranks, which is a new progression system that tracks the number of wins you have earned. If you win games and grab that elusive crown, you get crown ranks. Crown ranks can unlock golden versions of costumes, as well as some exclusive color combinations and patterns for beans. This appears to be a progression system that still rewards dedicated players, while also allowing more casual fans to unlock the fun shop outfits by earning Season Pass crowns.

Fall boys Season 3 starts on December 15, and after the first two seasons, we can expect regular patches at all times, to add new obstacles and solve problems in the stages.
