(MENAFN) On Monday, December 14, Yemen’s security authorities announced that new groups of African migrants continue to arrive in the war-stricken state amid cruel living circumstances.
“Large numbers of African immigrants, mostly from Ethiopia, continue to sporadically arrive in the southern provinces of the country,” said an official from the Aden security command as he headed to Xinhua on condition of secrecy.
The appeal noted: “the influx of African immigrants continues to increase as they easily enter Yemen through many illegal ways and with the support of traffickers.”
“Most migrants face harsh living conditions after their arrival in Yemeni areas affected by years of conflict,” he added.
