Best Buy will have more next-gen consoles on sale Tuesday, giving those looking to buy a new PlayStation or Xbox before Christmas another chance.
The sale “will launch sometime after 8 am Central Time” (9 am ET, 6 am PT), the company writes in a blog post. Those PS5 and Xbox consoles will be sold online only, though they can be picked up at a Best Buy store using the retailer’s curbside pickup option.

Despite going on sale more than a month ago, the new PlayStations and Xboxes are still incredibly hard to find. Best Buy’s tweet announcing it will have more shares on Tuesday was retweeted more than 1,600 times within 50 minutes of its departure.
It was not immediately clear how many stocks of either system would be available or if Best Buy would place interested parties in a virtual queue similar to Sony’s approach to controlling traffic by selling the PlayStation 5 directly on its website. CNET has reached out to Best Buy and will update if the company responds.
