BioWare has released a new trailer for its next entry in the era of the dragon Serie.
After being initially revealed at The Game Awards in 2019, the developer returned again this year to preview the next installment and offer the most extensive look at the game yet.
Simply titled era of the dragon, the trailer shows a unique new look at the world, deviating from the traditional fantasy setting that its predecessors fought for. From Gothic cities that use magic like neon lighting to stunning views of the countryside, the next entry seeks to be a bold new take on the series.
The game still seems to be firmly rooted in the lore featured in previous games, as fan-favorite character Solas received another brief glimpse in the final seconds of the trailer.

There is no set release date or confirmed systems for era of the dragon However, although the team spoke earlier this year about the development of the game and revealed that it is “progressing” despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic forcing developers to work from home.
Other surprising images were also teased during an EA Play event in June when the company’s vision for the next generation was shared, along with a behind-the-scenes video delving into the upcoming project in August.
BioWare didn’t stop its Game Awards announcements on era of the dragon either, since the show closed with the first trailer of a new Massive effect entry. While the project is in early development, the brief teaser contained clues as to where the narrative could be headed.
