Scott Pilgrim vs. the world: the game originally came out in 2010 around the same time as the movie, Scott Pilgrim vs. the world. The game was a retro side-scrolling 2D 8-bit beat ’em up that followed the story of the graphic novels, on which the film is based. You could play as Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine, or Stephen Still as you move through the world fighting Ramona’s seven evil exes.
But then in 2014, the game disappeared. It was removed from all digital storefronts. Most suspect because the IP’s license expired.
Then, over the summer, as graphic novel creator Bryan Lee O’Malley and the film’s director Edgar Wright celebrated the film’s 10th anniversary, they publicly asked Ubisoft, the game’s developer and publisher, to come back. a -Free the game.
After some meetings behind the scenes, Ubisoft announced a full edition of the game, with a completely remastered game and all of its DLC was in the works.
Now Ubisoft has announced January 14, 2021 for the launch of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Full Edition at $ 14.99. The DLC includes the playable character Knives Chau and Wallace Wells and players will be able to team up with the other players, locally or online, to take on each mission.
