Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro

The Xiaomi Mi 11 series is scheduled for an announcement in the first quarter of 2021, although rumors also point to the possibility of an announcement as soon as this month. According to a leak from trusted whistleblower Ice Universe, the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro are scheduled for release in late December 2020.
Whenever it is released, the Mi 11 Pro will have an innovative four-curve screen design and could also make its way to the Mi 11. If we follow Xiaomi’s standards for their flagship devices, the Pro version should get at least a 120Hz refresh rate, QHD + monitor. Redmi K40 Pro
Another phone that will surely get the Snapdragon 888 processor is the Redmi K40 Pro. It will be among some of the pioneers to take advantage of the technology. The Redmi K40 series is rumored to be launched early next year, so it is debatable whether the Xiaomi Mi 11 series will bring the Snapdragon 888 to market before it hits the K40 Pro.
Like its predecessor, the K30 Pro, the next Redmi flagship will be on the radar of buyers who want to experience the goodness of Qualcomm’s flagship in 2021. Most likely, the phone will see a 108MP main sensor, 12GB of RAM, 120Hz refresh rate display, a 4500mAh battery pack with fast charging capability courtesy (at least) of a 33W power pack. Other than that, not much is known about the device; for now, it is firmly under wraps.
Realme race
Another of the first competitors to jump on the Snapdragon 888 bandwagon is Realme “Race” (codename). Relame has officially announced that the smartphone will come with the flagship processor and should be presented in February or March next year. It could even be earlier, but there is still nothing concrete about the official release date.
Of course, the codename Race signifies the speed of the device that will in all probability be a successor to the Realme X50 Pro 5G. Since Realme is very sharp when it comes to hardware configuration, the device should have 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a powerful camera setup. Realme “Race” will run on UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 out of the box.
OnePlus 9 Series
Talk about upcoming Android devices and the OnePlus 9 scheduled for release next year instantly appears in the frame. Unlike other OEMs who are running to be the first to launch a device with snapdragon technology, OnePlus will introduce the 9 series according to its usual launch cycle, which should be in the first quarter of 2021. OnePlus has sealed its authority in the Android world as one of the most refined phone companies, thanks to superior hardware and software integration.

Black shark 4
Talk about the fastest processors available and you can’t rule out gaming-centric devices. Although there will be several phones with the flagship processor in 2021, Black Shark 4 is the only gaming smartphone for now that has been confirmed to receive the Snapdragon 888 processor. The phone will be announced in the first quarter of 2021, around the same time as the OnePlus 9 series.
The gaming phone will have a 144Hz refresh rate display, a battery of at least 5,000mAh with 55W fast charging, and a respectable camera setup. It will be interesting to see how the phone will take advantage of the Snapdragon 888’s advanced game engine.
Other smartphones
As we said, as time goes on, we will see a host of smartphones with Qualcomm’s flagship processor. OPPO has announced that the Find X series (probably Find X3 and X3 Pro) will be the brand’s first phones with the new processor. Samsung just tested a mystery device on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 888 processor, probably the upcoming Galaxy S21. Although Samsung would have liked to adapt all of its Galaxy S21 series phones with the 5nm-based in-house Exynos flagship, Snapdragon is hard to resist, especially with the obvious. Nothing is known about the device for now, so we will keep our fingers crossed.
Another device that will get the Qualcomm processor is the LG V70 ThinQ. Given that the V60 ThinQ had Snapdragon 865, expect LG’s next flagship to have the best hardware out there. 2021 already looks exciting for the smartphone field, which was getting a bit outdated with minimal hardware evolution. Snapdragon 888 offers a whole new dimension of possibilities, giving manufacturers more to play with and make their devices stand out. It’s going to be an Android party next year and Apple better be careful.
