Call Of Duty: War Zone is ready to receive an all-new map in its biggest content drop to date, Activision announced.
Following the news in a blog post that season one for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Y War zone has been moved from December 10 to December 16, it was revealed that players should “prepare to move on to a new War zone map and mode at launch ”and a“ new Gulag experience ”.
It is not known what the map will actually be, but data-miners discovered a new location on Rebirth Island yesterday (December 3), showing Alcatraz Island. The leak also detailed that the fan-favorite map of Call Of Duty: Black Ops II known as Raid would come to the game, which has now been confirmed in the blog post.

Along with the new War zone map, a substantial amount of new content is also in the works. The post details: “New and fan-favorite new 6v6 multiplayer maps, modes and playlists, the return of Gunfight 2v2 with four new maps, and a massive new Fireteam map.”
The blog continues to reveal more content, such as “free weapons and get ready for new zombie modes, seasonal challenges, and the full launch of the Seasonal Prestige system crossover titles, with up to 1,000 seasonal levels to progress.” through.”
As a preseason reward, two free packages will be made available between December 8 and December 15. Both the Field Research Pack and Certificate come with skins, blueprints, graticules, business cards, and weapon charms.
The double experience will also be available from December 12 until the launch of season one, giving players an incentive to prepare for the first major content drop in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Call Of Duty: War Zone It is currently in season six and has been extended through December 7.
