Grosjean involved in a horror accident
After a poor qualifying at the Bahrain Grand Prix, which saw him start in 19th place, Romain Grosjean was in a fighting mood as he looked to fight his way down the field on lap 1.
However, a high-speed collision with Alpha Tauri’s Daniil Kyvat caused Grosjean to swerve towards the barrier at the exit of Turn 3.
Watching fans were greeted with the horrifying sight of a large explosion as Grosjean’s car collided with Armco’s barriers and was split in two by the force of the impact.
