SAVE $ 300: The 256GB base model of HP’s 15-inch Pavilion laptop usually starts at $ 649.99 (depending on color), but you can get it on sale for as low as $ 349.99 this Black Friday.

The vast majority of the laptops we’ve seen for sale on Amazon and Best Buy this Black Friday have been sleek, stylish models that are best suited to power users: their MacBook Pros, their Microsoft Surface Book 3s, their LG Grams. (You get it). Budget laptop deals have popped up here and there, but most haven’t lasted long.

With that in mind, it’s time to move on to the HP store – select configurations of the brand’s lightweight 15-inch Pavillion laptop were on sale there at the time of writing for a whopping $ 300 discount, which makes it as cheap as $ 349.99, an impressive 46% savings. (This is one of the site’s limited-time Black Friday open house deals, FYI, click here to see the full lineup.)

That price is much cheaper than what HP had advertised in its Black Friday preview ad, so if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your current machine after working or learning remotely for the past six months, take it as a signal to pull the trigger.

That $ 349.99 configuration is a white ceramic base model with 256GB of storage space, 8GB of RAM, Windows 10 Home 64, a full-size keyboard with a number pad, B&O audio, and the AMD Ryzen 7 4700U. (That’s a brand new 8-core processor from earlier this year that has received rave reviews so far.) If you have a bit of leeway in your budget, HP offers you the option to upgrade certain specifications such as your operating system, keyboard, memory, resolution, WiFi connectivity, and color for as little as $ 10 each.

If you want to get a protection plan or some new laptop productivity software while you’re at it, you’re in luck – HP has * also * flagged them for Black Friday. You can add a two-year warranty for as low as $ 74.99 and Microsoft Office Home & Student for only $ 99.99 – discounts of $ 25 and $ 50, respectively.
