Physical copies of CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 appears to have been leaked into the wild ahead of its scheduled release on December 10.
After three separate delays, even after the game went gold in early October, and the retraction of promises that the game would not be delayed on November 19, the nearly seven-year wait finally appears to have passed. Cyberpunk 2077 it will soon be over.
When sharing an image of a sealed copy of the game for PS4, Redditor Justgonnasendit90 claims that they had one in their hands while working at Amazon. When asked if they could steal a copy, Justgonnasendit90 replied, “I thought about it. But it’s not worth the risk hahaha “.
The Redditor also noted that “The game felt pretty heavy. I know it has 2 discs and from what I saw a couple of goodies inside the case. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see them. The games also appear to be 70GB. “

The image shared by Justgonnasendit90 shows that the PS4 version of the game comes with two Blu-ray discs, plus stickers, postcards, a world compendium, a game map, and additional digital content.
The game’s cover art also confirms that players who purchase physical copies of the game on PS4 will be able to get a free next-generation download of the game on their PS5 consoles, complete with disc drives.

Other images shared by Justgonnasendit90 also suggest that Amazon has started preparing for the game’s launch day, with several boxes stacked against each other.
Since then, 20 minutes of gameplay has been leaked online through a different user, although the video was quickly removed. With physical copies being prepared at retailers, leaks are likely imminent, and players who don’t want the game to spoil are advised to stay away from forums that share leaked images.
In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, it was announced last week that the game will include a way for streamers to deny DMCA-related violations. Using the streamer mode option will swap the selected tracks with other DMCA approved songs.
