As a result of the most recent Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, 94 civilians have been killed and 414 injured in deliberate attacks against civilians living far beyond the combat zone. As the President of Azerbaijan has repeatedly said, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan did not fight against civilians, including Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian origin, and did not attack. to civilians or to the civil infrastructure in the country. We recall that, according to public statements by senior Armenian officials, since the outbreak of hostilities, the majority of Armenians residing in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan have already left these territories for Armenia. Armenia, in an open attempt to cover up their aforementioned wrongdoings that constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity have been accusing Azerbaijan of the same in order to divert the attention of the international community, and for this they have been carrying out a massive fake news campaign.
We once again resolutely reject these baseless accusations and renew our appeals to the international community to be vigilant against the deliberate actions of Armenia to cover up its crimes through a smear campaign against Azerbaijan.
However, it is disappointing that the journalist consciously chose the “representative” of the illegal separatist regime established in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan as his main source of information.
