The online multiplayer game Among us has taken the world by storm since its release in 2018. While the game’s popularity has risen astronomically in recent months, it has been around for 2 years. Not only is the game’s spatial setting a delight for its players, but the eerie suspense of who the imposter might be simply boosts the adrenaline a couple of levels. Given how hugely popular Among Us has become, it might come as a surprise to many of its players that the creators of the game recently created an official Twitter account for the game. And with the new Twitter account, a new Among Us map was also released, causing netizens to go into a frenzy.

Between us new map
On November 19, a tweet was posted on the official Among Us Twitter username, giving its players the first glimpse of a new map. The Tweet was accompanied by a screenshot of what the new Among us map looked like. Along with the screenshot there was a strong hint that the map will be presented correctly at The Game Awards, which are scheduled for December 10. The space-themed suspense game, Among us, is up for two awards: Best Multiplayer and Best Mobile Game this year.

Between us Current maps
The multiplayer game Among us It currently has three maps for players to explore, perform tasks, and betray their friends. All of these maps have a lot of variety and are played very differently. The most popular is The Skeld, while Polus and Mira HQ also have their own fan base.

Between Us: The Skeld Map
The Skeld was the first map published in Among Us. Skeld’s map is wide and extensive, so crewmates have to traverse longer distances to reach their task locations. But impostors can use the vent that is strategically located throughout the spacecraft. The Skeld also has one of the most useful security camera designs, making it difficult for an imposter to score a kill without getting caught in the tracks.

Between us: Map of Polus
While the Polus is similar to the Skeld in that it has security cameras and a wide and extensive design, it also has a slightly more connected ventilation network. An entire corner of the map is boarded up by decon chambers that cannot be vented. Therefore, the crew who have to travel to this area are usually safer than in other places. Polus also has arguably the strongest sabotage scenario, so the impostor can close doors in addition to calling critical sabotage.

Between us: MIRA HQ
MIRA HQ is the most exclusive of all maps. The map is small and full of long corridors and cramped workstations. Additionally, the map also lacks security cameras instead of a hall sensor record. MIRA HQ also has the best connected and most useful ventilation network. The O2 on this map also divides the crew into two ends of the map. Among Us can be played on a mobile phone or PC. There is the option to chat or speak with your crewmates through discord.
