Whether you adored the show or raged with hatred because you just couldn’t look away, you’ve likely watched every episode of the 2020 Netflix original. Emily in Paris. Therefore, it should not surprise us that the most talked about topic of the Outdated remains on Savoir’s payroll for one season.

Today, the Darren Star-produced show announced that it was renewed for a second season via a fake character memo created by Emily Cooper’s ever-classy and ever-critical Parisian boss Sylvie. “Despite his overconfident manners and lack of prior luxury goods marketing experience, he has nonetheless managed to charm some of our hard-to-impress clients during his short time at Savoir,” the note reads. “Call it Bonne chance, or American ingenuity. I lean towards the former. Her results are impressive. We love having Emily in Paris! But please don’t let her know.”

The note was accompanied by a short clip of the cast toasting the good news with champagne via Zoom. It’s not yet known how many episodes will air, but the last time we contacted Emily, she had unknowingly placed herself in the middle of a love triangle, so there is sure to be a lot more drama to come.
