USA / UAE. Dubai-based International Diplomatic Supplies (IDS) has launched a new operation in Miami, Florida, which will target US Embassies around the world with a range of international brands, plus a wide variety of grocery products from the USA

Founder and CEO Patrick Doyle told The Moodie Davitt Report: “We have opened an office, a warehouse, a personal employee, opened vendor accounts, built a complete US-centric portfolio that includes all international brands and thousands of grocery products. Americans.

“In keeping with our way of doing things, IDS Miami has partnered with Life Skills Haiti to fund scholarships to train ten nurses in Haiti. When our clients reach sales of US $ 100k with us, we will create another scholarship and invite the client (the Embassy) to finance one as well. If they do, we will match 1 for 1. I am very excited about this project. We have high hopes for it. “

Doyle created IDS in 1997. It is now the world leader in supplying duty-free groceries, spirits and household items to the international diplomatic community.

He is an active philanthropist supporting children’s charities around the world, as described in a memorable podcast interview (see below) with Martin Moodie earlier this year.

A growing global force

International Diplomatic Supplies (IDS) was started in 1997, originally supplying embassies in London, as well as exports from the English capital to British embassies around the world.

The business grew steadily and in 2010 IDS Dubai was created from the merger with Intagulf at the Jebel Ali port hub in Dubai.

This allowed IDS operations in both the UK to focus on the London market, as well as exports to Europe, North and West Africa; and operations in Dubai to focus on East Africa, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and Asia. The London operation also enables IDS to offer a wider range of products, including perfumes, cosmetics, electronics and groceries, to complement the London and Dubai portfolio of beers, wines and spirits.

IDS has built temperature controlled offices and warehouses at both locations and last year moved into a specially designed expanded new facility in Dubai.

Their mission is to provide family-style care and hope for children who have experienced trauma; her goal is to provide a comprehensive intervention to all children in her care.

The 24-hour Gentle Hands Residential Care Center offers medical, nutritional, home life, educational, recreational, adoption counseling, and Christian living programs for orphaned, neglected and abandoned children in the Philippines.

Shamida Ethiopia aims to empower the most vulnerable women and children in the country.

The charity highlights Ethiopia’s social problems, which have increased at an alarming rate due to poverty, HIV, disease, drought and conflict. The number of orphans and vulnerable children is increasing rapidly.

Patrick Doyloe visited a Shamida team in Ethiopia. So fascinated and grateful was the boy in red that he tried to block the door to prevent Patrick from leaving.

Shamida’s mission is to contribute to the integral development and self-sufficiency of women and children in difficult circumstances of extreme poverty. Their work includes providing housing for orphans and reuniting street children with their families or guardians.
