The new patch ‘Days Gone’ improves its performance for the PS5

Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new update for the open world zombie survival game Days gone which reportedly sets it up to perform better on the PS5.

The patch was first noticed by Square push and it logs a whopping 25GB. The update does not introduce anything new in terms of gameplay or content, but focuses exclusively on performance. Based on patch notes, based on Square push, the update adds operational stability improvements. Other changes include fixes for crash issues, frame rate drop, and lag issues and overall game stability.

It is worth nothing than other exclusive PlayStation own, such as The Last Of Us Remastered have received similar updates, which have been confirmed to improve the quality of the game in the next next generation console. Similary, God of War You will receive an upgraded version on the PS5 with higher frame rates and will support save file transfers from PS4 to PS5.

Days gone It will be playable on PS5 through the platform’s recently announced PlayStation Plus collection, which features a host of its own and third-party games such as Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Batman: Arkham Knight and more.

Sony’s PlayStation 5 is scheduled to launch on November 12 in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico, and South Korea. The rest of the world will receive the next generation console on November 19.

Earlier this week, Sony Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Hiroki Totoki revealed that the company expects to sell more than 7.6 million PS5 units by March 31, 2021.
