The Galaxy S20 Plus, which launched in February, took a 9 percent revenue share in the global 5G smartphone market in the first half of the year, according to market researcher Strategy Analytics.

“The S20 Plus 5G is one of the world’s most successful early 5G models and is popular in Western Europe, South Korea, North America and elsewhere,” said Strategy Analytics. “Samsung is making a lot of money from 5G phones.”
