Among Us Hack: Has the Eris Loris saga come to an end? Wave 2 of Anti-Hacking Updates to Fix Chat Spam – Innersloth

Eris Loris’ Among Us Hack attack may finally be coming to an end as Innersloth developers launch Wave 2 of anti-hacks to fix chat spam and mass disappearance!

We have already covered the topic of everything Eris Loris Hack in detail here as much as what should and should not be done against. So, we will save all of that in this article. The hack has already caused great fury among fans, and Innersloth developers have been fighting big to handle the issue. However, after a tweet from Innersloth, it appears that the Eris Loris saga may finally come to an end.

Among Us Hack: Wave 2 of anti-hacks to go live!

Today (October 25), Forest willard, Innersloth’s lead developer tweeted a statement. Said Innersloth was unfolding wave 2 of anti-hacks shortly. The tweet also indicates why the latest emergency fix did not resolve the Eris Loris issue. “Wave 1”, said Forest, extended to “Fix spoofing”. With that, I’m probably hinting a new account system in the game. This is likely to be done to provide everyone with a Unique identifiable ID and a report characteristic.

“Wave 2”said Forest, will take care of “Spam chat and mass disappearance”. This is huge because those 2 phrases perfectly capture the essence of Eris Loris’s hack attack. For those of you who don’t, the trick is spread via “chat spam” and in turn leads to a “mass disappearance”.

What to expect after the second wave of updates: server problems.

How Innersloth launch the second wave of antihacks, server problems it should probably continue to persist. Forest had warned us about unstable public lobbies because of this before. So that should be a temporary problem too. Therefore, it would be ideal for fans to stay away from public lobbies for a while. Once the developers update all the servers, things should be back to normal. By the way, “normal” in 2020 sounds strange, right?

Will the anti-hacking solution end the Eris Loris problem?

Innersloth sounds much safer with wave 2 than with wave 1. And this may have to do with the fact that wave 1, according to Forest, “fixed” some problems. So it seems the fixes are working.

Some fans still complaining of desperate problems. They complain about the game that now kicks them the moment spam occurs in chat. If this is how the hack solves the problem, it will be inefficient but still effective. However, Forest said this is probably not the case, and once fixed, the solution will provide something much better.

So fingers crossed, let’s hope for the best!
