According to a representative from Ethiopia, the two countries have built a strong and friendly relationship between China and Ethiopia over the past 50 years, and their relations provide a positive model of Africa-China collaboration.
Dina Mufti, a spokeswoman for the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, said in an interview with Xinhua on Tuesday that the ties of the two countries have been “massively transformed” with growing and close collaboration in various fields.
Dina stated that the two countries’ ties have developed very rapidly and “have expanded in many fields, including economics, politics, security, technology transfer, academia and capacity building”, reinforced by their main responsibilities in the scope of the Forum on China and Africa.
