(Pocket-lint) – Amazon Prime Day is an exclusive sales event held by Amazon, offering discounts to those who are Amazon Prime members. It will take place this week on October 13 and October 14, 2020, and here we will introduce you to the latest deals from Amazon in the US.
Note that you do not have to fully register for a Prime membership to participate in Prime Day; You can get a free 30-day membership if you haven’t been a member before. Membership costs $ 119 a year (or $ 12.99 a month, if you can’t make a one-time payment).

When is Amazon Prime Day 2020?
Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day 2020 begins next month. It begins on Tuesday, October 13 at 12 am PT and ends on October 14 at 11:59 pm PT.

Get a free trial of Amazon Prime to get the deals
Amazon Prime costs $ 119 a year. However, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to get the offers. A nice trick is that you have every right to cancel your Amazon Prime subscription once you have obtained your purchase offer.

Amazon Alexa
If you ask an Alexa-enabled device, like an Echo or Echo Dot, “Alexa, what are your deals?” You’ll get access to Prime Day deals hours in advance as well as access to exclusive deals. As long as you cancel the trial before the end, you won’t be charged for the $ 119 annual subscription. However, Amazon hopes that once you’ve enjoyed some of the benefits, you won’t hit the cancel button.
To order something, say “Alexa, what are your offers” followed by “Alexa, add [the item] to my car. “Alexa will confirm this, but if you want, you can set a 4-digit voice shopping pin with the Alexa app to prevent unwanted purchases.
Deals of the day and lighting deals
Amazon has its usual “Gold Box Deals of the Day”. However, since it is Prime Day, these sales accelerate. New offers will be available every day, including “Flash Deals” which are for a limited time and sometimes end in minutes. To stay on top of everything, use the Amazon app, where you can view many offers 24 hours in advance and sign up for alerts. Go here to see the offers you are viewing.

Prime Early Access offers
Prime Early Access offers are a type of Lightning Deal intended for Prime members – Amazon gives Prime members 30-minute early access to certain offers. However, all offers are available while supplies last. Prime membership does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a particular offer, and an offer may be sold out before the early access period ends.
Try the Amazon Assistant
Amazon Assistant is a browser add-on for Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, and Edge. It is free and easy to install. With it, you can view time and money-saving product comparisons, access shortcuts to popular Amazon hubs right in your browser, and receive notifications when the deals you are viewing are posted with notifications. It also allows you to obtain information about orders and deliveries.
Clip coupons on Amazon
Amazon. com has coupons. There is an entire section of Amazon dedicated to coupons. You can find coupons for electronics, pet supplies, toys, and other items. No scissors or physical coupons required. To get started with Amazon coupons, go to Amazon. com, then click on “Today’s Deals.” In the sub-item menu, click on “Coupons”. You can also use this direct link.
You can search for the most popular coupons, and when you find an item that interests you, you can click “Clip this coupon” or click on the item for more information. By clicking on the item, the coupon is also automatically clipped. When you have finished shopping, go to your cart and checkout as usual. In the cart details, you will see the coupon amounts deducted from your total.
