PS5 is blazing fast compared to PS4 and here’s Devil May Cry 5 loading time to prove it

The next-gen PlayStation 5 is just a month away from launch. The PS5 has many stellar features, but many of them are only theoretical until the console arrives. However, through special access events open to the public, certain people have accessed some functions of the console.

The most recent information that was leaked is about the ultra-fast loading speeds of the PlayStation 5. Sony has held several hands-on experience events throughout Japan. In one of these, fans tested Devil May Cry 5 on the next-gen console.

As of this event, ResetEra watched a video of the game. The most fascinating part is how quickly the game starts. Also, a comparison with the PS4 shows that the difference is impressive.

The PS5 can charge Devil May Cry 5 in just 4 seconds

The video of a Japanese practice with Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition shows the start of the game on a mission. The console takes a total of four seconds to start the mission.

The video can be compared to the game available on PS4. The same mission takes up to 22 seconds to load!

Another player reported a similar experience from a different hands-on event when playing Godfall on console.

While the feature sounds really amazing, it may have a rear end. Very helpful tips on loading screens in cool loading animations between missions will now be missing from games. Some developers can find a solution to avoid this by adding transitions. On the other hand, the rest will simply use it to their advantage and provide fans with a seamless experience.

So far Sony has been relatively cautious about the PS5, unlike Microsoft. However, with the release date now on the horizon, we can expect a lot of such reveals over the next month or so.
