Valorant Act 2 has been nothing short of a hit as of now. As the current act draws to a close, the developers at Riot Games released a blog post yesterday to inform players about the upcoming act. Act 3 will introduce a new map, a new agent, changes to competitive play, and much more. As always, the data miners had discovered a lot of information about the next agent and their abilities.
Today, Riot Games has finally released the trailer for the next new agent, Skye. In the blog post announcing what’s new for Act 3, the developers said that they originally thought of adding the new agent alongside the new map when Act 3 begins.
The next act will introduce a lot of new content to the game. In fact, the sheer amount of content included in the first Act 3 update patch is the reason they had to delay the release of this new agent.

There is always a story that explains how the agents got into the game. In the trailer, it appears that this new agent, Skye, is a Valorant version of, say, Tarzan. She can summon animals to help her in fights. In the trailer, we can hear Sage asking for his help in other fights around the world.
The power of the forest helps this new agent of Valorant
Thanks to data miners, we already know their skills, and now they all fit together. It seems that Skye has the power of the forest helping her, hence the animal trinkets. His recon / explosive skill uses the Tasmanian Tiger trinket and his blinding or flashbang skill uses an eagle trinket.
The trailer has confirmed the abilities we know so far, and it looks like this agent could well be the next meta. Overall, Skye is an enhanced support agent who can make or break a game.
